QuantX Mail Privacy Policy

QuantX Mail ("the App") is the official client for the QuantX ephemeral email service at quantx.email. This policy describes how information is handled.

Information we process

• Account credentials — Your email address and password authenticate you with QuantX mail servers.
• Email content — Message bodies and attachments you send are stored temporarily in QuantX ephemeral storage so recipients can open a one-time link.
• Mailbox messages — Inbound messages in your Inbox are available until you open and close them the first time, after which they are deleted from the server.

Ephemeral mail

• Outbound messages are delivered as a short SMTP stub containing a one-time HTTPS link. The full body and attachments remain on QuantX until the recipient opens and closes the link (or until the unopened TTL expires, typically 7 days).
• Closing the viewer destroys the server-side body and attachments.
• If a recipient downloads an attachment to their own device, QuantX cannot erase that local copy.
• Sent copies are not retained in a Sent folder.
• Only Inbox and Drafts folders are intended for use.

How data is stored

• Mobile credentials are stored only on your device (iOS Keychain / Android EncryptedSharedPreferences) when you choose to remember them.
• Ephemeral payloads are encrypted at rest on QuantX servers and removed after burn or expiry.
• Drafts may be stored in your Drafts mailbox until you send or discard them.

How data is transmitted

• All communication with mail.quantx.email uses TLS (HTTPS, IMAPS, SMTP STARTTLS/SSL).
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising.

Third parties

The App connects directly to QuantX mail infrastructure. Version 1.0.0 does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. External recipients’ mail providers (for example Gmail) will retain the stub message that contains the QuantX link.

Your choices

• Sign out — Removes stored credentials from your device.
• Delete mailbox data — Contact mail@quantx.email for server-side account or data deletion requests.

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
